Program Overview M.U.S.T. students will be provided the latest in Automotive Fuel System and Driveability Diagnosis training at the local level. Proven diagnostic skills and repair trends will bring all technicians and shops into the 21st century, by providing professional automotive system evaluations and repair procedures. This training program will occur over a 9 month period with students attending training programs 2 afternoons per month for 9 months or a total of 18 training courses or daytime program allows students to attend 1 day class for 9 months.
Coming Summer "06" Vo-Tec Instructors Summer Workshop This 3.5 day class held in our St Peters facility, will cover Ignition, Fuel, Low Amp Probe Testing Techniques, Evaporative Emission Controls, On Board Diagnostics using Scan Tools and much more. Bring your Scanner and Scope and we will see you in class. Classroom Instruction and "Dyno-Testing" of problem vehicles will be utilized on many makes and models. ABC's of Diagnostics This course takes technicians through a procedure based flow chart to define a successful testing routine used by many drivability shops. Technicians will learn how to use this chart and modify its path to fit their shop environment. Use of the step by testing procedures in regards to drivability problems will help lead technicians to the most likely cause of symptoms, quickly and accurately. 48 Hours of Driveability
This class series is designed to teach technicians the latest in Driveability Diagnostic Procedures. This fast paced course is 50% hands-on with students utilizing Digital Storage Scopes, Low Amp Probes, OE Level Scan Tools and Shop Computers. Data storage software will be demonstrated in this class. OBD II Training Program Technicians attending this program will cover changes in the New OBD II terminology and system operating protocols. System Monitors, Drive cycles, Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC'Ss) and Diagnostic Routines will be covered in a lab type environment. Generic along with manufacturer specific systems such as GM, Ford, Chrysler will be covered on cars and in the classroom using the latest in hand held scan tools and PC based diagnostic equipment.
